NORTH Cornwall residents are set to receive a special visit from Father Christmas this December, though he won’t be arriving on his usual sleigh.
As we edge closer and closer to Christmas Day, the faint jingle of Santa’s sleigh can almost be heard, as local children anxiously await a visit from the big man from up north. However, Launceston residents are set to receive an earlier visit from Mr Clause, though this time, he’s catching the bus!
Each year, Go Cornwall Bus bring the festive cheer, and lend Father Christmas a lift, as they tour the county on their very special Santa Bus.
The open topped double decker is fitted with some dazzling lights resembling a sleigh and a reindeer and takes Santa to a number of towns across the area.
Launceston residents will be able to say hello to Santa on Wednesday, December 11, as the bus visits Westgate Street at around 5pm, staying for 10 minutes.
