WITH Christmas rapidly around the corner, a prominent church in Holsworthy has opened its vast doors to the public to join with it in festive cheer as the Christmas Tree Festival gets underway.
Until Sunday, December 16, the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Holsworthy is hosting a range of festive activities for the family in addition to a diverse range of Christmas trees decorated by local businesses and organisations within the community.
As well as the opportunity to admire a range of decorations and festivities as the big day approaches, volunteers within the church are offering a range of activities to get involved in, ranging from competitions from ‘guess the name of the rabbit’ to tombolas and crafts for the children and hot drinks and other refreshments available.
The Christmas tree festival is open between 12pm and 7pm on Friday, December 13, with a weekend opening of 10am until 6pm on Saturday, December 14 and 12pm until 6pm on Sunday, December 15 with easily accessible parking available across the road from the church in Manor Car Park.
