CHRISTMAS TREES are being decorated in Holsworthy ahead of this week’s Christmas tree festival.
St Peter and St Paul’s Church will be hosting its annual Christmas tree festival, all of which will be decorated by local groups and organisations prior to the first day on Thursday.
The church is open for people to visit and view the trees between 12pm and 7pm on Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13, with a weekend opening of 10am until 6pm on Saturday, December 14 and 12pm until 6pm on Sunday, December 15.
The event is free to enter, with refreshments, raffle, a chocolate tombola, a craft table and the opportunity to vote for your favourite tree also forming part of the offerings at the festive-filled event.
A spokesperson for Holsworthy Churches – Your Benefice said: “The trees are in, all ready for decorating today and Wednesday between 12 noon and 7pm.
“With thanks to Jon Hutchings and Nigel Kenneally for collecting the trees for us.”
