THE semi-finalists for this year’s Team Handicap have been decided following last week’s quarter-finals.

Division One leaders North Hill A remain on course for a treble after seeing off league rivals Stratton A 5-4.

Stratton’s Elyot Burnett enjoyed a treble and Anthony Ward defeated Shirley Luckhurst to put Stratton in pole position at 3-1.

The visitors, who saw Mike Briggs and Iain Oxenham win two apiece, fought back to level at 3-3 before Burnett’s third success put Stratton on the cusp.

However, Briggs and Oxenham held their nerve to secure a narrow victory.

Division One leaders Budehaven A are through after a 5-3 success at their Crackington counterparts.

Ollie Edwards was in superb form for the hosts as he won all three, but the trio of David Sillifant, Aleks Worth and Alistair Prades held their nerve against Ross Wilmshurst and Keiron Chatterjea.
