VANDALISM to a park in Bude has led the town’s council to report the act to the police.
Bude-Stratton Town council has reported that vandalism to Bencoolen Play Park has been reported to Devon and Cornwall Police.
The council explained that among other things, a bench has been completely uprooted from its concrete foundations, requiring repairs and resetting.
A spokesperson from the council said: “Mindless vandalism has struck our play park once again.
“The actions of a few are ruining it for everyone. Ongoing vandalism not only damages our facilities but also takes away valuable resources that could be used to enhance our community.
