BUDE have named their side for tomorrow’s important trip to Tavistock in Counties One Western West (2.30pm).
The Seasiders make their second shortest trip of the season to Sandy Park knowing that with just five games remaining, the pressure is on to maintain their Step Seven status.
They are currently level on points with second bottom Bideford, who occupy the final relegation spot ahead of Falmouth, are two points adrift.
To add even more intrigue to the season, Bude welcome Bideford on the final day of the season.
Bude have to do without props Fraser Martyn and Chris Allin, but have persuaded former Launceston front-rower Jason Bolt out of retirement for just his second appearance of the campaign, while the rest of the pack is unchanged from their last outing at home to Kingsbridge.
The back-line also has just one alteration as winger Rory Hodges comes in for the unavailable Will Pharo.
Pharo’s absence means Pat Marks moves to outside-centre.
The bench sees second team player/manager Andrew Sillifant given a call-up, where he joins winger Jack Horwell and the versatile Ben Tharme.
Bude will also be expecting favours tomorrow.
Bideford’s task is a trip to leaders Plymstock Albion Oaks, while second-placed Tiverton start as favourites when they make the short trip to Wiveliscombe.
Tavistock have lost their last five games to drop to ninth, but are good at home.
However, Bude won the reverse fixture, and with Tavi having plenty of forwards out for various reasons, the Seasiders may fancy an upset.
BUDE at Tavistock: Brad Thomas, Rory Hodges, Pat Marks, Olly Denford, Zerran Hammond, Harry Dymond, Charlie Watton; Jason Bolt, Rory Mead, Matt Williams, Will Kingdon, Will Hockridge, Harvey Cholwill, Freddie Saxton (capt), Ben Hancock. Replacements: Andrew Sillifant, Ben Tharme, Jack Horwell.
Other fixtures: Paignton v Kingsbridge, Pirates Amateurs v Penryn, Plymstock Albion Oaks v Bideford, St Ives v Falmouth, Wiveliscombe v Tiverton.
