On Thursday, children at St Joseph’s School in Launceston celebrated the importance of reading with World Book Day.

Students and staff came to school dressed as their favourite book characters and helped raise money for the charity.

Students were engaged in activities throughout the day and participated in a live Zoom call with author Deshman Tennekoon who wrote Mary Anning’s Grewsome Beasts.
