MARHAMCHURCH has announced the queen of this year’s Revel. 

Each year, the people of Marhamchurch enjoy a day of tradition and fun as the Revel comes to town.  

This year’s event is being hosted on Monday, August 12 and promises to be a fun-filled day for all – the perfect day out this summer holidays.  

Complete with live music, Morris dancing, traditional funfair games, face painting, and pram races, there is something for everyone.  

As part of this much-loved annual occasion, each year a new local Revel Queen is selected to take on the crown.  

This year’s queen is Marhamchurch Primary School student, Lottie. 

Voted for by her school peers, she will be attended by six maids, a flower girl, a marshal and two pages – only fit for a queen.  

The day’s events get underway at 2.30pm on Monday, August 12.
