NATIONAL Highways are inviting residents to hear their plans for a notorious A30 blackspot.

The organisation will be presenting their proposed plans at a public awareness event to be held at Lewannick village hall, on the September 26 between 2pm and 6.45pm.

The event will provide information regarding proposed changes to the infamous crossing at Plusha, as well as crossings at Two Bridges and Trevell.

Plusha junction has become well known to locals for causing often brutal and sometimes fatal crashes, with a woman in her 70’s most recently losing her life at the site following a collision.

Cornwall Councillor for Altarnun and Stoke Climsland, Cllr Adrian Parsons has been incredibly vocal about the need for change at the junction.

Ahead of the upcoming event, Cllr Parsons said: “They will have staff present, to talk things through with members of the public. So it's vitally important if you live or have a business locally, that you attend and give your thoughts on the proposal.”
