AN AGRICULTURAL worker’s dwelling is planned for land west of Meadowside at West Youlstone, Morwenstow.
The property would be a three-bedroom bungalow with an office.
The application says the farming business, established by the Bellairs family, is financially sustainable and will continue to grow.
It points out that an on-site presence is needed to help improve animal welfare but there are no properties available to rent or buy within a one-mile radius of the site.

- TWO MEN who want to build 20 houses at Kitts Farm, Stratton have been told they are unlikely to get planning consent in pre-application advice. Gray Decker and Nigel Davis had hoped to gain support for their plans on land 100 metres from Homeleigh Garden Centre.
Sixteen of the homes would have been affordable.
But they were advised that given the open countryside location it would be a challenging site to promote for residential use.
When the significant distance from the nearest settlement, the remoteness from services and facilities, the poor provision of public transport and the conflict with the spatial strategy of the NDP (Neighbourhood Development Plan) and CLP (Cornwall Local Plan) are all factored in, it is difficult to see how the proposal would be capable of getting officer support.
