IT is almost show time for Holsworthy’s much loved community theatre company.

Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society, better known as HATS, has announced details for its upcoming annual pantomime, which will take place between February 3 and February 15.

This year’s performance will see a telling of the classic tale of Cinderella, with a cast comprising of the very best of Holsworthy’s amateur dramatics, including familiar faces and up and coming stars as they promise that patrons of the theatre will witness a performance to remember.

It will offer a fresh twist on the classic tale, including songs, scenery, costumes, lighting and sound effects. Rehearsals are underway ahead of the big day.

A spokesperson for HATS said: "HATS open with their annual pantomime Cinderella, on Monday, February 3, running until Saturday, February 15. Produced by Amy Clarke and Sarah Leach, it is truly a sparkling show not to be missed. Starring new and familiar faces, and up and coming stars, patrons to the theatre will certainly enjoy the performances and characterisations, as well as the songs, scenery, costumes and lighting and sound effects.

“Supported by an incredible chorus, talented musicians led by musical director, Georgina Bridle, and wonderful backstage crew, HATS prove that dreams really do come true!
