On Sunday, December 3, more than 80 Freemason’s together with their wives, partners and families from the province of Cornwall attended the Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth for their traditional Christmas Sunday lunch.
The event was hosted by the Provincial Grand Master David Maskell. Most lodges were represented with Peter Reeve the Charity Steward of Granville Lodge 3405 from Bude attending with his wife Margaret. After an excellent lunch a raffle was held in aid of the 2024 Festival Appeal which is supporting the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
The foundation generously supports a number of individuals and charities throughout Cornwall and all money raised is by Freemason’s together with their families and friends.
The raffle raised the splendid total of £425.00.
David Maskell thanked everyone for attending and supporting the province of Cornwall in it’s efforts to raise one million pounds(£1 million) before the end of 2024. He wished everyone a Happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.
