A CAMELFORD couple have marked an important milestone — after running for the last 1,000 days.

Matt and Sam Allan, best known for their roles in local group Camelford Up and Running have said they plan to continue as long as they can despite reaching the four-digit milestone.

Their runs have spanned from Cornwall to the capital of London, as well as abroad when they’ve been on holidays.

Matt Allan told the Post: “Needless to say, we've had a great time over the past 1,000 days.

“We've made amazing memories, have made new friends, and have ran literally 100s, in fact well over 1,000 miles.

“As for the future, well, I guess we'll just keep on running. We know one day our running streak will have to stop. Priorities in life could very easily take over at any time.

“We never take a single day for granted and until that day happens, we will continue as we are.“
