TWO officers from Callington Police helped to take care of a vulnerable elderly person by delivering a food parcel to their home last week.

It was reported that a PSCO and a PC from the station helped to take the person, who had taken a tumble in the town, back home where they found that there was no food in the house and no access to getting any.

With thanks to a member of the public and Callington Foodbank, a food parcel was provided to the elderly person.
