A HOLIDAY park based in Bude has been named the best in the country at a recent award ceremony.

Wooda Farm Holiday Park has been crowned as the national winner of the Best Family Campsite in the UK as part of the 2024 Camping and Glamping Awards.

From the farm animals, tractor rides and alpacas, to the various trails, sports and activities, Wooda Farm Holiday Park is packed with fun for all the family, allowing it to stand out above some of the stiff competition.

The site has gained an impressive 4.84 star rating on their travel listing, with 98 per cent of visitors saying they would recommend the site. Guests continue to leave huge praise with comments including "Shower facilities are unbelievable, the best I have visited, it's like you are in a hotel” and “Been camping for many years and Wooda is the nicest site by far”.

However, it isn’t just Wooda Farm which has shone at this year’s awards, East Thorne, which is based near Kilkhampton, also received the Best Glamping Site in the UK, highlighting some of the fantastic operations which are being run on the North Cornwall coast.
