UPPER Tamar Lake Sailing Club rounded off another successful year by holding their annual Christmas dinner and presentation night at the Brendon Arms in Bude on Sunday, December 17.

They were grateful to the staff of the Brendon for looking after them so cheerfully and providing a lovely meal in festive surroundings.

Adam Hilton (Commodore) and John Dabbs (Vice Commodore) presented the cups to the worthy winners and encouraged everyone to come along and join the club at Upper Tamar Lake on Boxing Day for a coffee and mince pie and a chance to get the dinghies on the water and race if the weather is anywhere near suitable for taking to the water.

The club are looking forward to sailing again next spring; they’ll be agreeing their race programme soon.
