THE Spring Challenge was once again held at Launceston Tennis Club recently with six teams competing every Wednesday for five weeks in dry, if somewhat cold, conditions.
The tennis was very competitive and enjoyable with all ages taking part.
The result was in doubt until the very last set of singles with Isaac Baron and partner for the last two weeks Henry Cornish winning their final match 4-0 to give them 15 points.
Marc Perry and Adam Baker, at the start of the evening on 13 points, were playing Graham and Owen Worth, on 11 points.
This very close match ended in a 2-2 draw and as Marc and Adam had previously beaten Isaac and partner Ruth Cornish, they were deemed the winners.
