THE 2024/25 Holsworthy and District Skittles League is in full flow with all sides having played at least ten matches in Division One.
Milton Damerel A have a two-point lead over the trio of Halwill B, Highampton A and North Petherwin, all of whom have 14, while there is a three-way tie for last place between Halwill A, Week St Mary A and Yeolmbridge B, the latter bottom of the standings.
The team competition sees Bradford, who see their sides sit sixth and seventh, top by a point from Highampton, North Petherwin A/B and Week St Mary C/D, while Kilkhampton (23), Milton Damerel (22) and St Giles (20) have all reached 20.
North Tamerton are last on 13, but just one behind Week St Mary A/B and Yeolmbridge.
In the 20-team Division Two, Sutcombe A are the early pacesetters with 14 points from a possible 16, while the A and B sides of Bridgerule and Chilsworthy B are just two behind.
Five sides – Chilsworthy A, Clawton A, Launcells B, Northlew B and Sutcombe B are all on ten.
At the bottom, Northlew A are pointless after eight outings, but only four adrift of a trio of sides in New Inn A, Thornbury A and Thornbury B.
The team competition is equally as tight.
Bridgerule have 24 points combined, as do Sutcombe.
Chilsworthy are close by on 22, although there is then a six-point gap to the trio of Clawton, Launcells and Pyworthy.
Thornbury are bottom with eight points, two behind Northlew.

The Divisional cup finals took place on Tuesday, November 12.
The Launcells Trophy for Division One was won by Milton Damerel who beat Halwill 308-292 in the final, while the Division Two champions were Chilsworthy who defeated Launcells for the Sandercock Trophy, 317-298.
