BUDE will look to pull further clear of the relegation zone on Saturday when they travel to home specialists Kingsbridge in Counties One Western West.
The Seasiders are much improved under joint head coaches Simon Jeffery and Joe Wilson after last year’s struggles.
They may have just three wins to their names from ten games, but have six bonus points compared to eight they managed in 22 outings last term.
Bude edged out the visitors at Bencoolen Meadow, but High House is a stronghold for the Kings who saw off promotion hopefuls Plymstock Oaks in their last home outing.
Bude, however, travel with a near full-strength squad which has been boosted by the return of flanker Fraser Priest from league rivals Bideford.
He is named on the bench as the Seasiders look for a third away day success of the season.
Looking ahead to the game, Jeffery said: “We’re looking for a big performance on Saturday and with it a win away from home.
“It’s always a tough game at Kingsbridge, particularly with the long drive, but we’ll be looking to build on our good performance away at Barnstaple!”
