Home friendly v Suttons – Sunday, May 26
BUDE held a mixed friendly against a touring team from Reading, the first in many years, although it was the visitors who ran out 126-76 winners.
The captain of the day was Alan Butler (ex Suttons player) and a special guest player for Bude was Mike Jennings (former Bowls England President) and an old adversary of Suttons.
Thanks were expressed to Sue Worth for providing the tea and Sue Bonsor for helping and also Nigel Worth for manning the bar.
