THE Holsworthy and District Pool League held there annual finals night at the Old Market Inn recently.
Across the four divisions there were plenty of notable performances with Holsworthy’s Kings Arms, Rydon Inn C, Union Inn and RBL Magpie winning their respective leagues.
On an individual basis, Andy Pollard enjoyed another stellar season in Division One winning 17 of 18 league games while Tony Holgate was the only man to have a 100% winning record with 13 from as many games. However, Pollard did get the better of Holgate in the Open Singles final as he won a thriller by eight frames to six.
Martin Kinsman got the better of Luke Potter in the League Singles final while Emily Hart beat Sharon Mills 3-1 in the ladies showpiece event.
The prestigious team cup was won by Kings Arms of Holsworthy after they beat Division Two side Orchard Mayhems 5-0. The Consolation Cup was won by Division Four runners-up Village Inn B after edging out Division Three runners-up Orchard Inn C 3-2.
