BUDE'S Tony Greaves has won the The 'Del Codd' Groundskeeper of the Year Award at the recent annual general meeting of the Cornwall Association of Cricket Groundskeepers.
Tony, 77, has been doing the wickets at Crooklets for over a decade, producing high-class pitches despite the ground’s location on the clifftops.
See this week’s Post for the thoughts of Tony on the award as well as first team captain Warren Rumble who paid tribute to his sterling efforts.
