LAUNCESTON fell to their second successive one-defeat earlier today as they were beaten 31-30 at Ivybridge in Regional One South West.
The visitors led 13-12 at the turnaround thanks to Dan Pearce who notched a try, a conversion and two penalties.
Both teams then traded tries points throughout the second half with Pearce (penalty and two conversions), Jake Crabb and George Bone all contributing for a 30-26 lead with 14 minutes to play.
However Matt Finn’s last-gasp try secured the victory for Ivybridge, sparking jubilant scenes amongst the home players and supporters.
