Susan Desmond, president of the Werrington Ladies Circle, welcomed the members to November’s meeting of the Ladies Circle followed by a demonstration of how to create a Christmas wreath or festive table decoration.

The ladies had brought an abundance of foliage from their gardens and spent the next couple of hours creating beautiful wreaths and table decorations, adding personal touches with coloured ribbons, baubles, pine cones, cinnamon sticks and teasels. Great fun was had by all and the sense of pride at their achievements was amazing as many of the ladies never realised they could be so creative.

Refreshments were provided and served by Mrs C Adams and Mrs J Burt.
