BURDON Grange Care Home, Highampton, recently presented a cheque for £200 to go towards the chemotherapy unit at North Devon District Hospital, in Barnstaple.

Multiple Sclerosis Specialist Nurse, Carol Turner, was presented with the cheque by resident Wendy Samuelson.

The money had been raised in June when Burdon Grange held its Ruby Weekend. This year's chosen charity was Carol's 'sky dive appeal' which raised over £900 for the chemotherapy unit.
