SOME 37 volunteers, kitted out in high visibility clothing, cleaned up Chilsworthy on Monday, May 27.
The event, which saw volunteers washing signs and picking up 10 full bags of litter, was organised by Holsworthy Hamlets Council. It was funded by the Devon County Council Town and Parish (TAP) funding scheme to encourage councils to work together more.
Volunteers worked from 10.30am till 1pm and enjoyed refreshments in Chilsworthy Village Hall afterwards.
