THE PLACEMENT of two shepherd huts for holiday letting on land adjacent to the Environment Agency Flood Warning Station at Woolstone Mill, Poundstock has not been welcomed by planners.
Pre-application advice said the area was not considered to be sustainably located. Whilst the proposal would be an extension to an existing business, it was viewed as being inappropriate in scale when relating to its character and location, with specific regard to its accessibility to services and facilities. The advice concluded that, on balance, it would harm the character of the area.
