A tribute is being considered for a Blisland resident who played their part in the community.

Blisland Parish Council received a request to install a memorial for the late Anne Bogle, who had been the Village Shop chair.

Minutes from a recent meeting of the council indicate it could take the form of a tree or a plaque.

It reported: “The council agreed that allowing to plant a tree would set a precedent. The council felt that perhaps a plaque at the shop or a donation towards a memorial would be more appropriate.

“The clerk to refer to the Village Green Policy and draft a letter for the council’s consideration.”
