Two groups have benefited from funding raised at a recent harvest event.
In mid September, Camelford Conservative Club held a very successful ‘Harvest Auction’ which raised a record sum of £2,834.
On November 14, cheques for £2,417 were presented by the club chairman John Ward to Jane Moore on behalf of the town’s Memory Cafe and to Sally Moore representing Camelford Committee Cancer Research UK.
Each thanked the club for their extremely generous donation.
The chairman then thanked all those, including Ian Harvey the auctioneer, who had helped to make the event such a success.
