ARMY cadets from Holsworthy enjoyed a 24-hour field craft exercise organised at detachment level and made good progression in their personal development training at a recent company weekend at Okehampton Camp. The annual field craft event, Operation: Sudden Contact 2, took place at Southdown Woods, near Torrington — home of Survival Laser Games. Twenty-two cadets in two sections used team skills taught by the Army Cadet Force (ACF) to compete against each other in a challenging military scenario — and it was Lance Corporal Emma Whittle who lead her team to victory.
