THE MP for North Cornwall has issued a call for residents to join in a national litter picking campaign.

The Great British Spring Clean and Great British School Clean 2024 is underway and will last until March 31.

It seeks to encourage the general public and school children to get involved in cleaning their public and educational settings.

Scott Mann, the Conservative MP for North Cornwall, has encouraged residents to get involved.

He said: “The Great British Spring Clean and Great Big School Clean 2024 will take place until March 31. You can pledge to pick up a bag of litter, or more!”
