A RESUBMITTED plan for a dwelling in Bude has been approved by Cornwall Council.
The application was made by Mr J Teague, of Teague Developments Limited, concerning land south of 2, Haven Road, Crackington Haven, Bude.
The proposed changes included floor levels.
St Genny’s Parish Council commented on the application, saying: “The St Genny’s Parish Council proposed that no comments be made on this application.”
It was subjected to a number of conditions, namely: “Notwithstanding the approved plans, no additional first floor windows beyond those shown on the approved plans shall be installed at first floor/roof level of the proposal hereby approved.
“Reason: To protect the privacy of occupiers of the dwelling(s) to the north (2 Haven Road) and east (Penwarren) in accordance with saved Policy 12 of the Cornwall Local Plan Strategic Policies 2010 - 2030.
“Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) (or any order revoking, re-enacting or modifying that Order), no development within Classes A, B, C, D and E of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the said Order shall be carried out without an express grant of planning permission, namely: The enlargement, improvement or other alteration of the dwellinghouse;
“The enlargement of the dwellinghouse consisting of an addition or alteration to its roof; Any other alterations to the roof of the dwellinghouse; The erection of construction of a porch outside any external door of the dwelling; The provision within the curtilage of the dwellinghouse of any building or enclosure, swimming or other pool required for a purpose incidental to the enjoyment of the dwellinghouse as such, or the maintenance, improvement or other alteration of such a building or enclosure.
“Reason: In the interests of the visual amenities of the area, and in accordance with policies 12 and 23 of the Cornwall Local Plan Strategic Policies 2010-2030/
“Prior to the first occupation of the dwelling hereby approved the Bat Box, Bird Box and Bee Brick shall be installed in accordance with the details indicated on drawing no. TE/24-01.1 received 5th June 2024 and shall thereafter be retained maintained as such. Reason: To accord with policy G1-10 of the Climate Emergency Development Plan Document 2023 and policies 1, 2 and 23 of the Cornwall Local Plan Strategic Policies 2020- 2030.”
