AN author from Bude has channeled her creativity for a good cause, publishing a book in the name of charity.
Marian Migliorini lives in Bude and has recently announced the release of her new book, titled ‘Rags and his Adventures’.
The book is made up of thirteen bedtime stories for ages ranging from three to eight years. The stories follow a small family and their pet dog ‘Rags’ as they enjoy group adventures and gather stories to tell.
Speaking about the book, Marian explained: “There are messages within the contents of love, friendship, kindness and bravery added to which is also adventure, which is written to excite and make the reader use their imagination.
“My family were my inspiration to write them as were the children of my Infant and Junior school, who enjoyed hearing them.”
As well as providing fun literary learning for young people, the book’s release also hopes to raise funds for local cause, Children’s Hospice Little Harbour in St Austell.
Marian added: “Should you wish to purchase this book for one of your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren or friends, please contact, Spencer Thorn Bookshop in Belle Vue, Bude.”
