ONE person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A30.

Icy and slippery conditions have caused some issues on the A30 this morning, as police received reports of a collision involving four vehicles on the A30, near to the Jamaica Inn at around 7am this morning (November 20).

Both police and ambulance services attended the incident, where one person had to be taken to hospital to be checked over, though their injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Officers closed the eastbound carriageway and the road was reopened at around 10.20am.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall police added: “Icy and slippery conditions have been reported in the area and we ask motorists to take extra care during their journeys.”
