Some of the town’s businesses have been providing a much-appreciated bloom of colour with their decorated planters.

Homeleigh vouchers were presented to the businesses with the greenest fingers.

Following a tough round of judging, members of Launceston in Bloom paid a visit to Threads, who took first place, Liberty Coffee, coming in second and Woolacotts for the best container.

The runners up in the competition were: Freckles, Winnings Gallery, Robertson's Jeweller's, The Byre and Undercover who were each given a voucher for a free basket in 2025.

A spokesperson for Launceston in Bloom said: “Our thanks go to Homeleigh for supplying the baskets, containers and vouchers for the three winning businesses, and for their continued support for our work around the town and to all the participants for watering their plants to keep our town looking lovely for the summer.”
