A GROUP have been using their creativity to produce some meaningful and artistic tributes to their loved ones.
Launceston Bereavement Group has been running for 18 months and aims to provide a safe space for locals to support each other following the loss of a loved one.
This week, the group, which is run alongside St Thomas Church in the hall, got creative ahead of the festive period.
Members of the group received a visit from local florist Alison Penno, who gave a comprehensive tutorial on how to make a wreath.
Co-op Funeralcare contributed £250 towards the workshop which helped enable the members to work together and independently to create a beautiful tribute for their loved ones.
Katie Willing and Kenzie Watson of Launceston Co-op Funeralcare said: "It was a huge success, with those in attendance creating some beautiful tributes in memory of their loved ones.
“We have been running our Bereavement Group for 18 months now and it is continuing to progress each month with all of our now 'regulars' and also welcoming new people at almost every meeting too.
“We welcome and encourage those who may feel like they may need a bit of extra support or a safe social space following a bereavement to come along."
