A KEY road in Launceston has been scheduled for closure after a number of complaints by locals.
Windmill Hill has been penciled for closure between August 19 and August 30.
A number of residents have argued that the road has become unsafe, with residents experiencing slips and falls on the route due to its condition.
However, now the 680 meter stretch has been identified for resurfacing, something which many locals will be pleased to hear.
The 11 day closure will see the road marked as off limits to drivers between 9.30am until 4pm on weekdays.
