FARM Watch was launched at Bradworthy on Saturday by Holsworthy Police.

Farm Watch is a similar scheme to Neighbourhood Watch, run for, and by, members of the farming community and supported by the police. The scheme is free and anyone from the farming or rural community can join.

Currently, there are 21 Farm Watch members and an area-co-ordinator, who have been working with PCSO Raquel Rowe over the last 18 months to promote the scheme and give advice to farmers on how to prevent crime. To join Farm Watch in Holsworthy, contact PCSO Rowe.

Residents can register their property free of charge on http://www.immobilise.com">www.immobilise.com. The property that is registered in this website will automatically link to Police National Computer Database.
