Hear those sleigh bells ringing as Santa and his reindeer make their way to the Holsworthy ‘Big Switch-On’ this December. 

Spending time with friends and family, wrapping up warm, having fun, and giving gifts is what Christmas is all about, and Holsworthy’s Big Switch-On and Christmas market is a chance to get involved with it all. 

On Saturday, December 2, between 4pm and 8pm, The Square in Holsworthy will be filled with festive cheer as residents mark the town’s official launch of the Christmas period. 

Throughout the afternoon and into the evening there will be plenty for visitors to get involved with! 

For any keen dancers, between 4pm and 5pm there will be a silent disco. 

There will also be a street market, free children’s rides, a bucking bronco reindeer, live on-stage entertainment, and a giant snow globe. 

For those still looking to complete their Christmas shopping, many local businesses will be taking part in the town’s late night shopping. 

Finally, the annual Holsworthy Football Club’s Santa Run will get underway, as the jolly men in red battle it out to be crowned the king of Christmas!
