PETROC A Level student, Sabine Sharp from Holsworthy, has impressed her lecturers, family and friends with offers from four of the UK's top universities.

Former Holsworthy Community College pupil Sabine has been offered places studying English Literature and German at Liverpool, Sheffield, Swansea and Southampton. The institutions are all part of the Russell Group, representing the top 20 leading universities in the UK.

Initially, 18-year-old Sabine took five AS Level subjects as she has always had a passion for a diverse range of subjects. Now in her second year, she is studying A-levels in Maths, German, English Literature and Chemistry.
