The overall infection rate of covid in Cornwall is slowly decreasing, however there are still hot spots where positive cases are still at their highest.
Launceston comes top of the list, within the last seven days Launceston saw 124 cases - a rate of 1147.5 cases per 100,000 people which comes at an above average level compared to other areas of England.
Behind Launceston, the worst areas within Cornwall effected are Falmouth North, Truro West, Falmouth West and South, Truro South and Central.
However other areas are at an all-time low, Crackington and Tingtale, Bude and Stratton, The Lizard, Towednack, Lelant and Carbis Bay, St Ives and Halsetown have the lowest number of cases.
Overall, covid rates in England are slowly decreasing. With this, PM Boris Johnson is planning to bring forward the end of restrictions including seal isolation rules. Currently, anyone who tests positive must self-isolate for a least five full days however this may be due to end March 24.
The law will be replaced with guidance, Downing Street has said. For example, people will be urged not to go to work if they have covid.
