VOTERS in Holsworthy will need to stay up through the night to find out who their new MP is.

All of Devon’s district and unitary councils will be conducting election counts, with some authorities overseeing multiple constituencies.

Most have estimated what time they expect to complete their respective counts by. However this could all change depending on the size of the turnout or any requests for recounts.

Devon has witnessed several boundary changes ahead of this election, making it difficult to know when constituency counts will be completed.

Tiverton and Minehead, Honiton and Sidmouth, Exmouth and Exeter East and Torridge and Tavistock are all new constituencies.

The results for Torridge and Tavistock will be counted by Torridge District Council at the Atlantic Racquet Centre. The authority gives a predicted completion time of around 6am.

Candidates in the Holsworthy Post area include: Sir Geoffrey Cox (Conservative), Isabel Saxby (Labour), Phil Hutty (Liberal Democrat), Alan Rayner (Independent), Andrew Jackson (Reform UK) and Judy Maciejowska (Green Party).
