THERE was a floral spectacle in Launceston Town Hall on Wednesday, October 23, when 150 people attended a Devon and Cornwall Floral Art fundraising event.
The main event was Tracey Griffin, a national demonstrator from Hampshire, who produced many ‘wow factor’ floral arrangements.
Janet Ward chairperson and her committee Gill Casey, Jackie Harrison, Carole Budge, Linda Banbury, Lin Banfield, Lisa Harding, Liz Hodgson, Judith Taylor, Rose Joynes and Sarah Parker provided many stalls, delicious homemade cakes, various soups and a great selection of delicious desserts.
“A great day was enjoyed by all.”
The total amount raised was £2,673.73. The funds will go towards a Cornwall and Devon Area Show to be held at The Parkhouse Centre, Bude on November 27 and 28, 2025, when Alison Penno will be the national demonstrator.
