A car was overturned with people inside on a road at Widemouth Bay.

Fire crews were called to reports of an incident on Leverlake Road, Widemouth Bay on the morning of Monday, August 5.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said of the incident: “Firefighters from Bude Community Fire Station attended reports that a car had overturned with people inside. “On arrival the fire crews confirmed that the occupants were already out of the vehicle, and they assisted with first-aid and scene safety until the arrival of ambulance and police.”
