Bude Sea Pool has announced that it will be closed today (October 13) due to a dead sheep which has been washed up on the terrace with the high tide.

The pool has said that once the animal has been removed and the pool flushed out with the next high tide, users will be welcomed back.

A spokesperson from the Pool said: "Thank you for your understanding."
