The following people were shared at local magistrates’ court for drink driving offences:
KARL ROBINSON, 52, of Park Close, Holsworthy will appear at Bodmin Magistrates’ Court on 16 September charged with driving a Citroen van on the A39 at Kilkhampton with 151 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood – the limit is 80.
ANDREW DAWSON, 34, of Woodville Road, Woodford changed a not guilty plea to guilty on a charge of being in charge of a car in Crescent car park, Bude last June with 102 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the limit is 35. He was made subject to a community order which includes having mental health treatment. He was also fined £500 and ordered to pay £114 victim surcharge and £35 costs. Ten points were put on his licence.
DAVID HART, 43, of Bridge Street, Stratton pleaded guilty to driving an Audi on Summerleaze Beach car park on 20 August with 94 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the limit is 35. He was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay a £400 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was banned from driving for 24 months which will be reduced by 24 weeks if he completes a course.
