A COMMUNITY defibrillator was stolen from the telephone box in Halwill between Monday, November 30 and Wednesday, December 2.
The defibrillator is a community asset, available for use in the most vital circumstances, and its theft could have cost somebody their life.
Fortunately South West Ambulance Service has been able to replace the unit, now that they are aware of the theft.
The defibrillator costs £800.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious, to contact them via telephone on 101 or email [email protected] quoting the reference number: CR/083551/15.
