Heavy rain continues to cause disruption for local drivers as flooding near the A30 has led to a car being abandoned.
Drivers heading off of the A30 towards Lewannick are being met with flooding which is becoming scarcely passable.
A yellow weather warning which covered much of Cornwall brought about heavy showers and strong winds, causing downed trees, flooded roads, and even landslides across the area.
While many cars are reportedly taking it steady, slowly making their way around the shallow side of the flooding, one vehicle has been abandoned in the middle of the road.
The car has been left within the flooded area with its windows down.
One driver told the Post: “The guy has abandoned his car with the windows open too, so they’re get a car full of splash if people go around on the other side. I got past in my car on the other side of the road but they need to drive safe.”
