A much-loved annual LEGO event in Bude has announced the charity it will be supporting in 2025.
For the last 75 years, a small Danish company has been producing little plastic building blocks which have won the world over, and now this empire is coming to Bude with an upcoming event.
For the second year running, Bude Bricktacular is returning to North Cornwall. The event welcomes those from across the area who have a passion for the colourful bricks and all the wonderful things they can create.
Hosted at the Falcon Hotel in Bude, the occasion transforms the site into a brick-lover’s dream, with attendees bringing their very best builds to display and compete for the best in show.
Last year’s event wowed audiences and as such is back again for round two.
However, the event is not only about fun and games, it also aims to raise funds for a local cause at the same time. Each year, the event’s organisers PlymLUG, select a charity to raise money at the event. This year they have named Corey’s Farm as 2025’s chosen charity.
A spokesperson from the group said: “We are thrilled to announce that PlymLUG has chosen Corey's Farm as the charity to support for a second time at the Bude Bricktacular 2 LEGO Charity Show on March 29.
“Corey's Farm is a local gem, providing invaluable support and respite for children with additional needs and their families. Their dedication to creating a nurturing and joyful environment aligns perfectly with our mission to bring smiles and build a stronger community. They offer a variety of services including animal-assisted activities and some recently added LEGO activities!
“Join us for a day of LEGO fun and creativity, knowing that every brick you build helps support this wonderful cause. Let's come together to make a difference, one brick at a time!”
