VOLUNTEERS of Bude Memory Cafe have paid a visit to the town’s fire station to thank the crew for their fundraising efforts.

Following a recent open day, which gave residents a deep dive inside the community fire station and the opportunity to meet the crew, more than £3,200 was raised for charity.

After a local nomination, Bude Memory Cafe was chosen to be one of three recipients of the funds raised.

This week, volunteers at Bude Memory Cafe were invited by crew manager Barney Day to the station, to meet the team and receive their donation.

The crew were thanked for their hard work.
